Fresno, CA

This past weekend, I had the chance to go to Fresno, California, for the Acquire the Fire event.

It was an awesome time for me to be personally refreshed as well as watch many others encounter the Lord. :D 

I specifically had the chance to talk to a young girl in 7th grade about committing to not date throughout high school.

I found her in a secluded part of the concourse, and she was crying as she sat quietly.

I sat down and prayed for her and then asked her what was going on. 

It turns out a friend of hers betrayed her and -long story short- it was some pretty intense jr. high drama.

It, of course, all started with a boy, so I talked to her about surrounding herself with godly friends as well as committing to purity in every aspect.

It was so cool just to see how God was working through her brokenness and that she was receiving what I had to say.

I just thank God that He used me to speak to her and I pray that she becomes a powerful force for Jesus.
